Battery Drain on aosp 4/27 2.3.3

Im pretty sure its an app, because before, my battery was fine. How can i check which app is consuming the battery so much?

go to settings>about phone>battery use

it shows a diagram of battery drain from the time the phone was turned on and taken off the charger till current.

and it shows apps that use the most battery.


if your top 4 battery drains are Cell Standby, Phone idle, Display, or Wi-Fi. then you can rest assured that its NOT an app, the rom itself just has awful battery life.

however, if it IS an app, it will be at the top of the list.

for me, when i use the turn by turn navigation for an hour straight while driving, Maps, will be the top battery drain on this list. however when its not on, it wont be.


make sure you know what your looking for instead of randomly making accusations

the rom does have bad battery life. and your on an older build then whats out right now anyways
