Battery Drain since latest update

I've had crazy battery drain coming from Android System, Android OS, and Bluetooth since latest update to 4.0.3.

Any suggestions?

As with all updates, you should wipe your phone's cache partition in Recovery Mode...

Failing that, do a Factory Reset.

Also turn off the auto backup feature as well. Its a huge battery drain.

I have not personally found 'Back up my data' under Backup & reset to be a battery drain issue.

Where does this show in battery usage?

Turning off Backup means that if anything happens to your phone or data, then you have no backup to fall back on. Usually, after it has done the new , initial, big backup after the update, it settles down.

Not that it really backs much up anyway...

But I agree with you, turning it off won't really save much power, and definitely not enough to justify the inconvenience if you ever need the backup.

I still get decent battery life but have noticed these draining a lot more
