Has anyone else had their battery drain faster after the 905 update? My battery was lasting about 12 hrs using 80% with my normal minimal usage under the 902 update. Now it is lasting only 3 hours with the same usage. And a 32 minute phone call drained 65 percent of a fully charged battery. Same results with all three of my Motorola brand batteries by the way.

Battery has been the same for me on 905 as it has been with 902. No obvious change.

Well for me, got the OTA and put eclipse 3.0 on. Turned on the wifi hotspot at 8 this morning and its only at 60% at 7:37...going great for me.

I noticed that .905 battery did not last as long, at first.
As time went by (week or two, I have the leaked version) it has improved to about where I was with 902. Not really sure why.......

My wife is saying her battery is worse after the update. I haven't noticed much difference.

What was your battery % when you installed the update? I did mine on a full charge, my wife did hers about 30%.

battery life is fine for me on 905. definitely not even a skosh worse than on 902--maybe even slightly better.

Seattle,
Today the battery drain is less than yesterday which was less than the day before. Looks like my phone is doing what you experienced with yours. If this keeps up by tomorrow or the next day I will have battery life back to where it was with 902.

That's about what I went through; first and second day was bad but since I am enjoying as good if not better than .902.
Glad to hear it's improving for ya! :)

I am experiencing a faster battery drain and I am using Moto's extended battery. I dont see any apps hogging my battery life. I use wifi @ home but it still drops pretty quick. I cant imagine having the stock battery back in this! I'm glad to have the bigger battery!

My wife had this problem, an FXZ back to .902 and retaking the .905 update on a full battery did the trick. No problems since.
