Battery drained while charging?

Went to bed last night at 1:30ish, plugged in my phone, and woke up at 10:00 to 36% battery (and the screenshot obviously shows it charging and draining at the same time). I haven't tried charging it yet, but I did turn it off and back on just to make sure. Has this happened to anyone else?

Probably a software glitch. The phone may have recognized the charger but not pulled a charge in. Do you use Qi charging at all? Could be related to that bug.

I personally make a habit of powering off my phone 90% of the time during charging. A battery charging and draining at the same time can't be a good thing in the long term.
