Battery draining unusually fast.

Well,as the title says,I'm pretty much concerned about the state of my battery, but I can't quite point my finger at the cause of this.(If anything,I'm running Android 12,using a Moto G41. I haven't rooted my phone or performed a factory reset ever before. I had the whole motherboard replaced because of an unrelated issue when this phone was still new).
Note that my phone has also been heating up a bit more than usual. Now, I think there may be a variety of causes:
First things first,I keep modded apps on my phone. The most recent one I've installed, and I suspect it might've worsened the issue a bit,is Spotify, from XManager.
Second, I have AccuBattery running, but it does not seem to properly record the battery charges and discharges.
I've checked my battery usage in settings, and it seems like there's nothing out of the ordinary. My battery went down 30% in just an hour, but my settings just say it went down by about 27% in a whole 24 hours. (Battery percentage used by apps)
I have had this phone for about two years (ish). I'm surprised,if this is the case,by how fast the battery capacity has drained. Either way, I would like to figure out what is the most likely cause. :)

Welcome to Android Central! There are a few big possibilities in your situation. First, the fact that the whole motherboard had to be replaced at one point increases the chance of some hardware problem, perhaps due to a failing connection somewhere.

Second, the use of modded apps is not advisable. You can never be entirely sure the source you're getting them from is safe and free from malware (and malware doesn't necessarily mean a virus -- it could be something like a crypto miner injected into the code, which could certainly cause a phone to eat up battery). In addition, modded apps are often used as a way to get around paywalls, which is not something that is condoned here (and hence we generally lock down any thread that is primarily about modded apps).

The first thing to try is Safe Mode, which will disable any 3rd party apps. Does the battery still run down that fast in Safe Mode?

Also, check your cell signal. If it's weak, that's a common reason for battery drain.

Firstly,thank you for your answer.
I forgot to add,it seems like the problem usually happens at random intervals, where I'm not doing anything out of the ordinary, general daily use, sometimes it drains the battery easily, and other times it seems to be in the "normal" range. Second,my battery seems to be puffing up a bit. So yeah, can't figure out if the exact cause is hardware related,or software related. Will just deleting the modded files and performing scans help steer clear away from the threat? I'm not sure if it would be the same battery wear in safe mode,as it mainly happens when I'm using the phone, not when the screen is turned off. I will try it anyway,if it's deemed necessary .

Ah, the swollen battery is an important bit of information! Swelling indicates that a battery is starting to fail, and could definitely lead to increased heat generation and poor battery life -- but more importantly, it could also be a fire risk. I would stop using the phone (if possible) and bring it to a repair shop for inspection. The battery will probably have to be replaced.

poor signal strength can lead to increased power consumption, automatic updates, and features like location services or push notifications can all contribute to battery drain.

I'm having the exact same issue on my Nokia 3. I replaced the battery with a brand new one a few months ago, so I don't think the problem is the battery. Maybe it's something related to the phone not going to Deep sleep, but apps show it indeed does go to deep sleep. Yesterday, I left the phone at 53% at 11:45 PM, and at 10 AM today I saw the battery has been drained to 0. Battery stats don't indicate the same thing, which is pretty weird. I also have removed all google spyware (and installed microG) and nokia/"evenwell" bloat/spyware, and I only have FOSS apps on my phone (no social media). This greatly reduced the chance of this happening (most of the times I find that the battery only drained 2-3% in 12 hours!) but this still happens sometimes, like today. I'd count it as a problem with the motherboard.
