Battery Draining Very Fast

[Android Central Question]

My friend has a Moto Z Play for Verizon and after the update in March it seems the better has been terrible. She used to get about a day out of the phone and now its sometimes only a few hours. It also sometimes it shuts off randomly when its still at like 50%. She has talked to Verizon many times and they said they ran a check and the battery is fine. She did a factory reset and it almost seems like it got worse. Does anyone have the same issues or any ideas? The phone is completely stock. Thanks.
