battery drains at different rate ??

i generally power down my S24U at night, then power up in the morning.

however, i noticed the battery sometimes would go down from 100%-85% and other times from 100%-95% within a couple of hours when i know i am not doing anything on the phone. i can't understand how it would drain at a different rate from one day to the next when the phone is just sitting next to me under the same circumstances.

any idea??

What does the battery usage indicate as having used the charge? The phone, while powered on, may be doing things even if you’re not using it - in fact, it will be doing things.

One UI 6.1 has been issues with battery , Samsung should be getting that squared away with June update from what I hear.

Funny thing to add is I had my phone off and charged to 100 percent after the restart it was 98%

Funny thing to add is I had my phone off and charged to 100 percent after the restart it was 98%

i thought maybe the internal clock is running even though the phone is off. as suggested by @belodion, when you check battery usage, does it even tell you what used up the 2%?

The battery stats in device care only tells you over time or at the moment something like my situation no it won't say

You have a better chance of winning power ball than Samsung fixing what they broke with the battery life.
