Battery drains very fast when travelling between cities.

I recently started university in another city (2 hour bus trips every day) and noticed that my Z2's battery drains very fast when travelling I noticed Usually, during the trips, my carrier's network coverage constantly fluctuates (most of the time there is none) and I somehow think it might be related to that. When I am at home, the battery is fine. What do you think? And any suggestions on how to prevent it? Thank you and appreciated.

The signal is definitely the cause. Signal is one of the biggest drains on a cell phone.

A weak or nonexistent signal will drain your battery faster, specially if your mobile data is on.

If your using 4G try turning that off when traveling
