Battery Dying Early

Any ideas why my phone shuts down at 27%?
It seems like it runs out of battery, but it still shows 27% before it happens.
Any help is appreciated.

You need to calibrate it. There are apps in the store that do it. It will reset your battery and then recalibrate it. Follow the apps instructions exactly though.

You don't need an app. Run your phone on battery without powering it until it warns you that it will shut down (or until is just shuts down on its own, which yours will probably do at 27%.) Then plug it in and let it charge to 100% (so, I'd leave in plugged in overnight, or for 5 hours or so.) Power on if necessary to verify that it's at 100% and unplug if it is - then plug it back in again for 30 minutes or so.

That should do it.
