The phone is fast and fluid. Screen is the best in the business.
HOWEVER there are people experiencing battery drain.
The known issue seems to be WIFI (this also happened on the Nexus 5 until it got Android 5.1) This is an Android 5.01 issue, not a Samsung issue.
FIX: turn off WIFI (you could also try just turning off just WIFI calling.)
Android 5.1 fixes this issue, but who knows when Sprint will get around to releasing that.
My battery life went from 3-4 hours screen-on time to 5.5. hours screen-on time by turning WIFI off. Yes it's a pain, but it does fix the battery drain until 5.1 is rolled out!

I have been seeing cell standby taking up about 30% of my battery. Yesterday I shut WiFi calling off and left WiFi on. I charged my phone early this morning. Since the charge completed my phone has been on battery for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Cell Standby has used 1% of my battery and the battery is at 99%.

No. I get the draining with WiFi totally off. I just turned off VOLTE, so im.hoping it makes a difference. If not , then I'll have to see if it is worth it with the fast charger, charging case or to return it

With so many people around here I don't really remember if you have posted some screenshots of your battery usage, I mean, if in your case with Wifi Off you still have drain, and it's not the VoLTE that I thought everybody with these issues should be turning off until there is a fix, then you may have a rogue app, or even the infamous Google Play Services draining your battery.

Post more detailed information to see if we can see what nay be wrong in your case, if not, then get a replacement while you can,

So with the fact that my cell standby is around 30%, if I turn off my wifi features, this should in theory help with my battery life? I am just so surpised that this thing eats through battery life like nothing. I am not a power user at all, and since I unplugged the phone around 9am, and right now it is 1pm, I am at 20%. This is ridiculous and I always believed that a phone connected to a wifi network would use less power then one that is not.

I'm ready to purchase, my GS3 is on its last legs, however until I see some sort of fix I'm hanging on the sidelines.
