Battery functions

Since having a new battery installed the battery functions such as charge indicator and saving are not working. It's still working ok though and I take the precaution of charging it regularly. What could be wrong?

Bad installation?
Knock-off battery?
Those are the two obvious things that could be wrong.

Return it to the repairman who replaced your battery and explain the problem. The sooner you do it the better the outcome. Good luck and please let us know the outcome.
