Battery getting drained from 71% to directly 0%

[Android Central Question]

My s7 edge is hardly 1 years 4 month old and facing extrem battery issues from 71% to 0% battery is draining with in 2 mins evan after using wifi and watching facebook video. Unable to understand weather it is battery issue software issue.yesterday i have done factory reset again same issue is going on.

Sorry to say but it sounds like your phone has a bad battery .

The only suggestion that I can offer is have your battery replaced.

From what I have read and seen, it seems that unfortunately there are some cases where even new devices have defective batteries.

At least someone finally figured out how to make lithium batteries that don't have that particular problem (Dendrite-free lithium battery) so maybe we'll start seeing longer battery life in a few years.
