battery icon showing percent charged while charging?

when the phone is plugged in while the power is off a large battery icon comes up with the percent charge left. is there any way (using tasker?) that i can have this displayed evertime i plug in my phone to charge.

Is there an app for this at all? maybe something similar to the eyephone (hate i phone by the way, this is the only feature i like)

I use batterytime and its widget shows that I'm fully charged

You can push the volume rocker up and see the battery picture again while the phone is off to

i had both of those apps, they are nice but not what im looking for.

i want the whole screen to be a battery icon and possibly show the percent

I use battery indicator pro, I know that does not fill up the while screen like you are wanting but it does a good job showing you when it's fully charged. I think what you what is an app to make it look like the iphone when charging. I'm not aware of one that does that in the market yet.

I think we're looking for for a widget or hack that will stay in view when the phone is powered off, just like when you first plug it in, the battery icon comes up then goes away, it would be nice if just stayed in view until fully charged that way you wouldn't have to press anything to see if your fully charged.
