Battery icon to number percentage?

Is there anyway to change this on the X?
I find it even annoying it goes by 10% increments.
I am rooted as well, if that helps my chances of doing something like this.

The app Gauge Battery Widget can put an icon in your notification bar with the percentage of battery left. You don't even need to have the widget on your screen. Unfortunately, the increments are still by 10s.

It is a bug in the Droid x software. There are threads around the area that states Motorola is aware of it.

I do currently have Battery Indicator Pro, and that works, just still does the 10% thing.
Thanks for the info, I hope a fix for it comes out with 2.3.
