I just don't understand people who are having issues with battery life. This to me is good battery life. If I can get 10 hrs of heavy use, then I'm happy.

Most people that have battery issues have installed too many anti android/anti ICS apps installed, or they have a ton of widgets on home screens that are constantly sucking the juice staying connected. I like my Beautiful Widgets, but don't get filling up your screens with a bunch of other widgets like calendars, news feeds, etc... Too many of these things murder your battery. What's so hard about touching an icon?

yeah I agree, mostly wifi but still extremely good

That's unbelievable that you get 5 hours of screen on time!!! Wish I could get that kind of mileage out of my phone

Yes battery life is good on this phone. i don't think many people who complain about battery life realize this nice screen does require some juice. phone is awesome

Even more unbelievable is that out of 14+ hours I spent 5 of them staring at my damn phone.

To the OP.... Doesn't it show that you plugged in and charged the phone during the battery cycle?

I plugged it into my pc to transfer some files. Still, the next one is didn't plug it in at all.

What's amazing is that my brightness is at 70%. I could probably get another 3hrs if I turned it down.

Nice... I have no issues with battery life either. Its a powerful phone... can't expect ridiculous battery life.

You running completely stock?

That's not true, I just have a bad habit of always locking my screen.

Yes, I don't think I plan on rooting this one.

fantastic battery life is achievable on any phone if you don't use it.

Haha! Not unless you have a razr maxx or Joe's phone. Going on 14hrs 57mins with 26% left and 5hrs 6mins of display time on, heavy use today.

If you use the phone hard for two hours it looks like the battery life is going to suck. But if you let the phone sit idle for the next 20 hours it looks like you phone is getting great battery life. It's not that hard to figure out.

Also, Andorid OS went nuts on my first phone and killed the battery. My second one has been fine and I'm satisfied the battery life. Point is that some of us have experienced bugs that affected battery life. So there are a number of reasons we have seen battery life complaints.

Speaking on this subject makes me question the value of even having an app like a battery saver...

Juice Defender didn't do anything for me personally, maybe because I'm not using it right, given the fact that others say it works. But I did use Battery Saver, and it did indeed seem to save batt. life, because I noticed the batt. would lose % much less quickly - if it wasn't being used.

But then as soon as I would start using the phone, the percentage would drop significantly, as though the battery saver was only hiding battery loss from me, not actually decreasing power consumption...

Idk, maybe it's just me! :D
