Battery issue with Google Play Services

Hi guys, I have an issue with Google Play services consuming 25% of my battery consumption. Even if I stop the application is still goes back and in the app settings it consumes around 20-30MB of RAM. Any suspects regarding this issue? And how to fix it? Thanks!

turning off all location reporting stopped this from happening for me.

Though, seems stupid, because I want to use location based stuff, and 4.3 didn't seem to have a problem with it.
