battery issue

I am using htc 820 dual sim phone its having big issue of battery . Draining even data off n screen is off when i find out that background aap running when screen is off its showing 70%, 75% used by androide os plz help me...plzz, every thing is ok in this phone bt battery plz help me what i do that next step

Welcome to Android Central.

The first thing to try is a Power Off and Restart. It could be a wakelock or something stuck on syncing, and the reboot will sometimes stop it.

Make sure that your basic settings for location reporting, syncing, photo cloud backups and so on, are appropriate.
