Recently when i wake up in the morning (after charging my phone over night) my battery level has been at around 40%. It is taking ages to charge and if i go to use my phone when its on charge the battery discharges instead of charges. To see what the culprit was i went on to the battery tab in settings and it says that screen is using 65% of my battery and has been on for 7 hours. I don't know how to stop this as my settings are what they have always been. Brightness on lowest auto, screen time out on 15 seconds and i even have auto adjust screen tone on to save my battery. any idea of how to solve this problem? Any ideas would be appreciated.

Tried removing your battery yet, waiting around 10 seconds, putting it back in the without turning the phone on, fully charge it.

You never said if your screen stays on while charging or not. If it does check if the keep screen on while charging option is checked. Also, are you running a daydream or charging mode? Not being a ****, just starting with the obvious.

"you gotta be a lil crazy to stay sane..."

I would recommend getting a new battery. You can buy one from these guys they offer a lifetime warranty.Fliptroniks 2100 mAh Li-ion Battery For Samsung Galaxy SIII GT-I9300 You could also try resetting your phone but new battery should do the trick

Dude, give it a rest. This is about the 4th battery thread I have seen you on and in every one the first thing you say is buy a battery and post a link. How much of a kickback are you getting?
