Battery Issues

Alright I'm about to smash my phone into the wall. When I unplug the charger it will still say its charging and when its turned off I can't even turn it back on, it will just act like its being charged and show the little battery thing, its done this before (I have no idea how I fixed it) anyone have any ideas on how to fix this or what's causing it?

Your micro USB port is shorting somewhere. I had the same problem with my phone, the solution was to take a small screw driver, and push the central (the actual connector part) of the micro USB port up (towards the keypad of the phone) so that it was centered better. Cleared the problem right up for me.


If you can't fix it that why, try cleaning the port with a soft brush (like an old toothbrush) and some rubbing alcohol. If that doesn't work, you need to take the phone in to have the defective hardware (or the whole phone) replaced.
