Am getting the same issues as well my phone jumping from 15% to shutting off ,Used to be that at 5%I wouldn't worried about the phone dying for a least 30mins .
Go settings go to mobile data make sure that the lte/cdma is click and not the global
Seems like That including the GPS with the phone antenna is causin a major bug with phone's battery.

My battery started doing this at about the year mark (this past October). Battery life had gotten poor, and it would just shut off when it got down to even 20%. I did a factory reset, which helped some, then at the end of January, the issue returned. I bought a 3rd party battery, which was better (and the shutdown business halted), but the battery life still does not seem quite as good as when I had a healthy OEM battery. I've since ordered an OEM direct from Samsung, but they're on backorder . . . .

It's a bad battery. I'm on a 3rd replacement. If you are under warranty your carrier wiill replace the battery for free.
