Yet another question.

I'm currently running EB01/EB16 SC 2.5

Since getting EB01/16, my battery life is really poor. Is 1pm and its down to 31% and it was fully charged when I got up this morning at 6. (with almost no usage)

Should I go back to stock?

I really love the way my phone is now, but I need to have it on me at all times, and dont have access or time to charge it during the day.

I've wiped data, wiped cache and wiped davlik? and battery stats too.

Any other suggestions? I know people have mentioned this before, I am not complaining (well, trying not to) I know the devs and everyone has really done wonderful things to make all this possible.....

Since upgrading to EB01 deodexed/voodoo my battery life and performance have been outstanding. I set my girlfriends phone up the exact same way and hers was terrible. We would both unplug our phones at the same time in the morning, and use them about the same amount. When she was at 18%, I was at 72%. I just did my general first step to fix pretty much any issues (clear cache partition, dalvik cahce, wipe batt stats and fix permissions) and she hasn't complained about it since. Not sure which one of those fixed it but permissions seems like the only one you haven't tried. No harm in doing it.

You are in SC 2.5 it doesn't come with the Maintenance Script Pack (removes batterystats and reboots also fixes permissions) which is included in SC 2.6. Make sure to be at 100% when flashing this script pack in CWMR.

Maintenance script pack

Another method I tried was starting completely fresh by flashing the complete and untouched EB01 .tar file build through odin back on my phone. Cory said the battery life is reporting correctly now with that build. I noticed a significant improvement, in the last 6 hours ive gone down 15% with occasional texting, calling, browsing, and music. I dont suggest doing this now till you are more comfortable with flashing and recovery.

EB01 (Froyo) Unmodified/Stock Engineering Test Package

Also another way to improve battery life is to use juice defender app which regulates your mobile data enabling/disabling according to your preference. Hope this all helps.

Can you explain the maintenance script pack? Just how to use it..

Yes, you flash it via clockworkmod recovery. Once you have flashed it and rebooted your phone, you should wait til your phone is charged to 100% before doing the battery stats wipe, but you can fix permissions right away if you have your phone set up the way you want it.

If you don't already have it, purchase terminal emulator from the market.
Open terminal emulator and next to the $ type su
Terminal emulator will ask for super user permission.
When it's done, next to the # that appears type fxpms
That will start the process of fixing permissions. How long that takes will depend on how much stuff you have on your phone.

You do the same process for wiping battery stats except that next to the # you type bstats, and your phone will reboot after it wipes battery stats.

Hopefully someone else can field that question as I am still learning too and I don't think I'd be able to give a complete and accurate answer to that question.
