Battery level not updating properly

Every day my moto 360 (gen 2) stops showing the correct battery level for phone. I can't tell if this is an issue with the watch, the phone (Samsung s6), an app or the watch face (instaweather weather forecast).

Often I have to switch off Bluetooth on phone then turn it back on again. So disappointing that this needs to be done.

At the same time I don't always get notifications on the watch. My suspicion is that the two issues are related somehow.

Any ideas?

I have a watch face that fails to update phone battery level. But its only with 1 watch face. All the others update just fine.
Notifications are a different story. That may be a pairing issue.
It might be time to take a few minutes and wipe the watch and repair / sync it and see if that fixes the issues.
