Battery Life between the HTC ONE M7 and the G3?

I'm thinking of picking up the G3, but with all this talk of the battery life, how is it compared to my current daily driver the Htc One M7? I'm hoping its better and not equal to the M7 right?

Any info is appreciated!

The G3 is too new (US) to have any long term real world use info on battery life.
It takes a new device several days to settle in and us users some time to also settle into normal use.
Check back in a week or two.

I owned and loved the M7, but battery life was always fairly poor for me.
The G3 has much better battery life based on early observations and usage.
