Battery Life Draining Fast In Idle

[Android Central Question]

I have had my s9 for about 5 days, and even with medium power saver, my phone drained 5% in 2 hours while idle the entire time since I unplugged it. My old LG Stylo would drain like 4% over like 8 hours of idle. I expect the s9 yo drain faster do to better hardware and a smaller battery but 5% is ridiculous. I can go to sleep at 25-30% WITHOUT the AOD and I wake up to a dead phone. Is it faulty or just how the S9 is?

Try turning Bixby off. If you don't use it, that's a big unnecessary battery drain.
