Battery life not being displayed correctly.

I've had this problem for awhile where my battery is like 100% and it only shows 20 Mins - 1 Hr battery life any idea as to how I can resolve this?
My battery lasts much longer then the time shown I would like to see the actual time I have left.

Had my phone for 6-7 Months.

This problem had occured before I rooted & flashed a rom etc.
Awhile back I used an app which optimized the battery not sure how & can't remember the name of the application not sure if that had effected it.

Any help would be much appreciated!

The problem I sometimes have is when I restart my phone it will sometimes restart the battery time. I dont know how to change that or your issue.. ive just kinda learned to not always trust the "off charger" time..

Are you speaking about the "21m 23s on battery"?

If so I thought that was showing how long you have been using the battery and not how much time you have left.

Oh seriously I always assumed it was my battery life... so how do I check how many hours I have left?

You can't without an app... I use Battery Widget Reborn, and it's pretty neat.
