I'm coming from the LG V30, and so far I would say it's as good or slightly better.

Well in comparison to my S6 Edge Plus it's better. It's nothing spectacular but maybe after a few charging cycles it gets even better.

What was your issue with the V30's battery life? Was it SOT, or standby? I was considering the V30+ for the quad DAC, but the small battery was a concern. I'd be coming from a Nexus 6P, so it is smaller in capacity. A lot of people and reviewers have said the SO+ battery life isn't great, which is why I'm reconsidering it as an option.
