Battery life running ART

I got the update to kit Kat 2 nights ago and don't notice much or any difference in battery.

I was curious to know if anybody who switched to ART has seen improvements in battery performance?

I guess there's no harm in trying it out but before I go through the process, I figured I'd see if anybody has any insights.

I turned on ART within 15m of installing 4.4. I would like to know also if ART improves battery life or if Kit Kat itself does.

I switched to ART 3 days ago. Battery life is pretty much the same, i.e. Excellent! Still @ 40% after 34 hours - and that includes using Tune-In Radio over 4G for a few hours, which is a battery drainer.

Apps run a lot smoother on ART. But, some apps don't support the compatibility.

I couldn't stream videos or play on device video from Google play video so I switched back ... Im surprised such an integral app would have issues but eh I don't notice that much a difference tbh
