Battery life with 4G only enabled

Has anybody tried running their phone with only 4G enabled and turning off 3G?

Wonder how much battery life 4G consumes as the only wireless signal enabled.

I tried, but it's really difficult to tell since if 4G drops out, it just switches to 3G.

I tried the first few days of getting the phone I tried it and it seemed to suck battery a little worse but not horrible. I had good 4g everywhere I was.

Seems silly to run it nonstop though.
