Just picked up a droid X2 a few days ago, and the battery is draining to about half full in a days time. Would it be wise to upgrade to a larger battery?

On the weekend I can usually eke out the day on one charge.

I have several spare batteries laying around. At work where the Verizon coverage is awful, it's not uncommon for me to go through 3 in one day.

Depending where I am I can get 13-16 hours. 11 when I take a 45 min drive on the highway. This things battery life is pretty good.

My battery life is pretty good. Way better than my wife's DInc and pretty comparable to my OG Droid, maybe even a little better. When I've been in areas where I'm going in and out of coverage frequently it does drain the battery though. I will say that when I got the phone new it did take a few cycles for the battery to reach its full life. I bought a back-up battery for when I'm using my phone heavily (gaming) and noticed the same issue. Basically, give your battery a hand full of cycles before you make up your mind. My battery lasts way longer now than it did when I first got it and I have a ton more apps now as well. Overall, I'm pretty happy with the battery life.

I can barely get through a 10 hour work day using some navigation, email, tapatalk, and facebook.
