Battery life

So I have the gnex. And love it a lot. Besides the battery life. I would like to know what is the battery life on the s 3 and is it worth the switch.

I just switched from the verizon GN to the s3. My gn would usually last me 10 hours of moderate use which would include about 2.5 hours of screen time. The s3 so far (my second battery cycle so far) has me at about 16 hours of moderate use and about 3.5 hours of screen time. Now, though i havent had the phone long enough, i can say that the battery life is substantial enough for me to make the switch.

This is my first full day. So far I'm impressed. I should be able to get 20 hrs today.

Admittedly it was lighter than normal usage for me but still, much better than my DROID X. I'm lucky to get 10 hrs with that. Sometimes only 8 or less. I started carrying around a spare battery to swap out about 3 pm.

4-5 hours screen on time every 24 hours on 3G&wifi. Minimal syncing intervals. NO 4G

I've only had the phone for 24 hours so i'm assuming the battery life is going to improve with continued use and breaking in but I've noticed that when sitting idle(I dont have any email syncing, no gps, etc.) the battery may drain maybe 1%/hour but when I actually start doing things like sending texts browsing a little or checking facebook/twitter and what not the batter will drain at percent per every couple minutes....so I'm hoping it improves some at least

Thanks for the feed back. Keep me posted because I might switch if the battery life is that much better. I get about 8 hours with an hour and a half screen time on my nexus. I always need to have a charger with me.
