Battery life

I am thinking about getting this phone but I have heard that the battery life is terrible. Is that true?

No not at all..normal on stock rom rooted I average 16-21 hours with little over 4 hours of screen on time...its a great phone

I'll second the vote for pretty decent. I get about a full 12 hours before I have to plug in. And then it's still at 20% or so.

I get great battery life too. Lasts me all day with moderate to heavy usage. All day meaning 6am to 7pm.

Obviously usage varies, but I go 6am to 1030pm and plug in with about 30-40% left. Anywhere from 1-2 hours of screen on time. I think that battery life has been fantastic.

Generally it's very good. My only complaint may be true of Android in general but I would say it's inconsistency. Some days with light to moderate use it sips battery at 1-3% an hour, other times it's 2-3x that with seemingly no difference in usage. Ironically, the 2 worst processes for battery drain are Maps and Google services (which I assume is Now or something similar). Whenever I have abnormal drain its virtually always one of those two.

That said, unless you're gaming, watching movies, or using turn by turn nav alot, it's easy to make it through the day without a charge.

I agree. Battery life largely depends on useage, unless there's a system problem causing battery drain which would affect most if not all users.

I dont know of any one who would call the battery life horrible on this phone. Especially considering the size of the battery. I couldnt be happier with my battery life. It stomps my Rezound which was running an extended battery.

I've been extremely happy with battery life. Especially after using easy battery saver. Last night I plugged my phone in at 20 percent after it being off charger for 15 hours with 3 hour screen on time. Not to mention 2 hours worth of streaming all access music/sirius

I get between 12 to 14hrs at 30%. Thats with pretty decent use.

Not at all, it is excellent! I can get through a day with heavy usage, and still have 45% at 11:00 P.M. when I go to bed.

I had the Rezound for about a month or so. It was a decent phone, but I could not tolerate the battery life. I lived in a fringe area at the time, so I am sure that was the reason that the battery would last eight hours.

I went on vacation and found a good opportunity to test how battery life was with cell reception out of the equation.
I was overseas and left the phone in airplane mode the entire time. These screenshots were after a 2 day trip.. used the phone to take about 170 pictures and 6 short videos.
Very glad the battery held up since I had no power source to recharge. Screen was set to Auto Brightness for those curious.
57 HRS and still had 18% !!
