Battery Life

I have the 3G version (AT&T) of the Gear S2 and overall fairly satisfied with the battery life. The problem I have is playing music while walking. The battery will hit 15% (from 90+%) in about 1.5 hours. Is this normal? I am using BT to a pair of Motorola headphones. Are there any settings that I can tweak to improve this? I do have GPS, WiFi and NFC turned off. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
On my S1 the built in music player clobbers my battery as well, taking it from full to going into power saver mode in about 4 hours if I'm using the speaker, and about 2.5 hourswhen using my Bluetooth headphones on the watch.

Are you streaming music or playing locally stored mp3s?

WoW!.. I usually get two and on occasion of an additional third day?... I think it depends on what apps are set by the phone on Gear setting app...
I would spend some time reviewing which apps you actually use?, versus ones that just take up space.
I recently did a Hard Factory reset on both my Galaxy Note 4 smartphone in conjunction with my Gear S2 smartwatch to which I was pleasantly surprised in a dramatic increase for both in battery life. I cleared out the cache as most suggest to do...
JUST MAKE SURE YOU HAVE BACKED UP EVERYTHING!
I do a double backup to memory card on phone in addition to hard drive on my Laptop.... Just in case things go Wonkers on Google & Samsung.
Never can be too careful with irreplaceable data.
There are some apps in which are battery Hogs,
First, start with a stock setup in what comes with the watch... Minimalist is always a Good Start!...
Then after a few days getting to know how battery life can go..
start adding apps...
I know most people want to get running with every whistle and bell ringing from the get-go... and you can!
But if Battery life isn't what's expected???
Might have to start from beginning to know what is causing yours different low battery than the rest of us?...
For now,
All I can say is read the reviews if an app seems to alter battery life as some do... Such as the Sleep apps and some Exercise Logging apps...
Some are better than others in that respect, Some are flashy at a price in where are others less flashy but functional to extended battery life.

I usually try one app for a few days before I add another.

otherwise, will be chasing your tail in wondering which is the guilty battery hogging app?
AND WATCHFACES!!! What can look as plain and efficient is usually not?
AMOLED screens are very picky to backgrounds by color to power usage.
I prefer a Pitchblack background with narrow colors in text/graphics to make battery life easy for longer.
Good luck
