Battery management on this phone is amazing

Left for work yesterday at 5:30 at 80% (I limit charging to 80% to preserve battery life; something I think everyone who keeps their phones for three years or more should do) and used the phone pretty heavily all day. By 7:00 PM battery was still at 58%. Absolutely amazing.
I can't really understand why people keep complaining that the battery is 'only' 5000 mAh.
The efficiency of the power management on this phone is impressive beyond words.

Wish I was seeing that sort of performance from the battery. Mine is 8 days old & it took itself off learning mode after 24hrs. I used it all the time for the first 3 days & much of the day & night after that. No always on display & no apps are hogging resources/draing the battery. I close apps regularly so several aren't open. I can't make it through a 14 hr day of moderate use, on a full, not 80% charge. It has just over half the battery life than my 4yr old S22U. Use includes streaming, downloading, chatting/messaging, average of 30min phone calls a day & emails. No video shooting or anything. I wonder if I have a bad unit....
