Battery not fully charging?

I noticed recently in the notification bar, my battery will go down to "90%" very quickly, so I went to the battery graph and it looks like the phone never fully charged to 100%, but I am certain that it did. (Picture is attached)

Is it possible that I've gotten past the maximum number of full charges on the battery? I've had the phone since mid February.

The thread never picked up speed, but for any who are curious, I charged up my phone after my initial post, and when it was fully charged I kept a close eye on it.

It got down to 90% in just about 5 or 10 minutes after unplugging it, but it is still at that same 90% on the graph now, 2 and a half hours later. Hmm...

Unlikely that your battery's running out so soon. Did you recently update to ICS, or was it a while ago? The ICS update was known to knock down battery life at least temporarily. There are a number of threads on this--possible solutions include doing a cache partition wipe (where you don't lose any data) or a factory data reset (where you lose all data and have to restore everything--not as bad as it sounds).

Have you tried charging the phone fully with it powered off? This might have helped me when I was having some of the abovementioned post-ICS battery issues. Do it for a couple of cycles, but let the battery run down fairly low in between (i.e., down to around 20%).

I updated when it was first pushed a while ago. I'm a victim of the bad battery life, too. I'll try the charging while the phone is off and see if that changes anything.

I'm good with clearing cache and keeping the phone clean, as I'm very cautious of that. I guess we just have to wait for a fix via an update.

Run the battery all the way down until the phone shuts off then do a full charge. This helps calibrate the battery meter.

It has been said that the first 10% drains faster than the rest. Many of us with battery monitors that display exact percentages know that the phone charges up to 100% and than begins to discharge until it hits 95%. If you happen to pull it off at this point, its only natural that the battery would drain. I know there's another reason for the battery draining to 90% quicker but I forgot. I could have sworn Google talked about this before but I can't find a link at the moment.

I am in the same boat and thought I was going crazy. I have done a full wipe twice since the update which has made this phone perfect other than this slightly annoying battery issue. It will go from full, (even if I leave it on for awhile after its full or immediately unplug), to 90% in a few minutes but the rest lasts for a very long time so maybe its a battery meter issue?

The factory battery meter registers fully charged at 95%.

For example, yesterday my battery monitor said I pulled it off the charger with 100% battery. Today, I was at 99% battery.
