I really have no idea what is going on here but my battery has lasted over one day without a charge.

Stock battery. Live on the cusp of LTE and 3G. Made a calls and tons of texts. Some Internet browsing. Overall standard use that usually lasts for 12 hours. Was in LTE are for 5hrs last night.

I honestly have no idea what is going on.

Check your display on time. Was it less than normal? Or maybe you deleted a widget that was draining your battery? Or maybe a reboot closed down an app that was running unnecessarily. Has to be something different.

Did you turn your screen brightness down, turn off GPS and sync?

Syncs are all the same. Screen is at 2x (two bars lit green on the brightness widget)
Display is 38% for 1 hour 17 minutes.

Gps was on and off. I toggle when I use the maps or nav.

You only used the phone for an hour. That's why it lasted so long. The display is what kills the battery. And to use the phone you usually need to have the display on! It does get great standby time. And there are things you can do to optimize battery.

I'm always excited when my Tbolt lasts a long time too! Just got this from my extended batter the other day, and posted it somewhere on here:

15 hours awake time 4.5 hours screen on At 50%!

True but that is normal for me sending texts and talking and I'm usually dead by the night.

It never lasted this long. Just weird.

I know. Some days my batter lasts longer or less too. I attribute that to weak or strong signal and whether I had a rogue app and didn't reboot to fix it.

Do you know how to identify a rogue app?
The only way I know how is by how warm my phone gets. It usually hovers at 37 degrees C. By hen I lost about 10%. A reboot usually aligns the app but I lose another 5%.

I have the Spare Parts app but I don't know how to home in on the rogue app.

I really don't know how to identify a rogue app. I'm not willing to download MORE apps just to check battery life and usage. If my battery gets terrible, I reboot. That has always solved the issue for me.

Or I'll go into my settings and make sure all is as it should be. Meaning my sync times are what I had set. Once it was the Blockbuster app. Movie updates were disabled. But for some reason they enabled again and drained my battery. I check that app first if I have a battery drain.

I also play with my widets too. I found the Kayak one updated too often.

I live in a 4G area and noticed that I can get 10hrs + when 4G is on but, from time to time, the phone switches automatically to 3G only. In a 3G area I can get more than a full day on one battery. I am a moderate user. Could it be that when it runs on 4G it is a power hog and when there is no 4G signal it is fine?

The LTE radio does consume more power than the 3G radio. Most of the time I have my TB running on 3G since it's just sitting there waiting for calls and messages. I'll switch to LTE when I tether or stream videos and that has made a huge difference in my battery life. When I was running LTE all the time, I would get about 8 hours of life with my usage patterns. Running on 3G most of the time, I'll easily get over 12 hours using it the same way.

Where is the screen that gives you this power consumption info? I remember seeing it once but I can't seem to find it now. Thanks!

Settings/About Phone/Battery/Battery Use

This will show a percentage breakdown of what's been using your battery. Display is usually the bigger user of power. Hit Display to see how much time your display has been on.

It's weird that you get much better battery with 3g than 4g because when I look at the current meter from the battery widget I have, it is using the same amount, usually around 38mA. I guess the current draw doesn't directly correlate to the overall power usage. I forgot the formula, but I think the voltage is a factor and that must change when in a 4G area or 3G.
