Battery percentage app

Does anyone know how I can get the percentage to show on my battery icon like in the attached link? I have found several apps that place it on the status bar but it just seems redundant to have them seperate. Thanks for any help

It's not an app -- that is some sort of custom ROM (Cyanogen maybe?). There's no app available that will be able to alter the battery icon that's in the notification bar next to the time.

Gotta be a root modification, dont think there's anything to tweak with that setting in the stock options for the handset

Battery Percentage App

Actually, there is such an app available. The OP got me curious, so I found it! Its called "Battery Level". Found it in AppBrain, it's by Redmacg. I am running Android 2.2 and works fine.

if you're not rooted, "Battery indicator" is the best one to use.
