Battery percentage not changing

Hello looking for some help. My battery percentage on my phone won't move. Even if its fully charged unless I pull the battery. Then it goes back to not moving again. Ive done several factory resets and I still have the problem. My phone is stock. Is there anything I can do before taking it in to Sprint?

sorry for your dilemma...
have you perhaps installed one of the many battery apps in the market to see perchance it registers the correct percentage as a way of narrowing down where the problem is?
do the contacts that the battery connects to appear corroded?
other than the percentage not registering does the device seem to be normally operational?
just thinking out loud...

Everthing seems to be working fine other than me not getting my gmail notifications. Its not rebooting or anything like that.

well, i have used a few different ones but seem to have settled on:

but there is also a free version you might want to try:

very detailed and extremely easy to use.
at the very least you would be able to narrow the search for your ongoing problem.

I took it to the Sprint store since I have insurance. Its a issue with the hardware. They ordered me a replacement. It will be here Thursday.

Got my replacement phone last night. They gave me white so I woulndnt have to wait. I'm liking the white.
