battery percentage on status bar

I did a factory reset the other day. Before the reset, I had it set so my battery showed percentage remaining and not just a white battery icon.
I have a Verizon s9 plus, and I've looked in battery settings, I do not see any place to set it to show battery percentage now.
Please could anyone that has a Verizon s9 look in your settings and see if there's a checkbox to show percentage of battery remaining or perhaps it vanished with an update.?

You have Good Lock app installed?

no, I do not have good lock installed. I did not have that installed before either. at this point I have a very few third-party apps installed

If you go into settings and in the search bar type show battery percentage , does it show up?

Bingo.. ding... ding.. ding! when I search for show battery percentage in the search bar, it showed up. I turned it on, and all is well with the world. I didn't even notice were that particular setting is but it doesn't really matter at this point. thank you very much for your help!

It's in settings>notifications>status bar
