Battery problem with my galaxy s3 help please

Hi guys, I'm Matt. Recently I have noticed that my battery barely lasts a day. I don't play games, I have power saving mode constantly on and the brightness right down. I have noticed that on settings where it says 'battery' the screen usage says '72%'. Now, I fail to understand why it's that high when the brightness is down? I'm thinking of buying a new battery for it but I'm not sure if that's the problem. Also, I can only use one charger on it, whenever I plug even a specific samsung charger in it doesn't charge. Sometimes the battery percentage will go down when I'm charging it and I have to take it out and plug it back in again and I'm really tired of it. Please can someone help me out. Thanks.
