battery problems

all of a sudden my mother in laws battery keeps draining early in the afternoon after charging it all night.she hasnt done anything differently and has stopped playing games. its a relatively new phone. any suggestions on how to fix this?? thank you!!

its most likely a new app that was downloaded that is running in the background sucking up the battery maybe. If shes downloaded any apps lately, that could be the problem, and you should see if you can end that either through the phone or a task manager app. If that doesn't help then apps running in the background wasn't it and the battery could just be bad.

Have you tried updating your profile and PRL settings?

Settings>System Updates>Update Profile and then go back and do the PRL update next.

When not in use, make sure all apps are closed (Back Button/exit/etc.), sometimes Task Killers help too, and download JuiceDefender on the Market to shut down your data connection when the screen isn't on... Very good app!
