Battery Problems

I have had my Samsung Infuse for about a year now and it has worked fine until the past few days. Yesterday my phone would turn off randomly and then turn on for a few minutes and then do the same thing again. Now my phone just turns on for a few seconds and the Samsung logo turns on and then it shuts off and keeps on Doing that. Yesterday when it would turn off after a few minutes the battery was at 87 percent and after turning off and on it was 15 percent. If anyone could help that would be appreciated.
