I wish AIM on the fascinate crashed as often as my battery got pulled on my BB (that is to say never.) Bash blackberries all you want, but you are throwing stones in a glass house.

I don't think anyone here is "bashing" RIM or Blackberry phones. I personally never did battery pulls either, but the cult following of people who swear by them is difficult to ignore. I really do hope RIM makes a cutting edge phone in the near future.
Just like I hope Google makes a cutting edge phone in the near future...The media experience is great but the rest of the edge (the part that's an actual phone) won't cut for ****. How many times to I have to turn down the "system sound" volume for it to get the picture that I don't want a cute little chirp every time I touch the screen? And yet it keeps cranking it up any time i change some other unrelated setting. Sigh.
You can turn that off by going to menu> sounds and displays>Audible Selection and uncheck the box. No more sound when you touch the screen. You can also turn off the sound when you touch the swype keyboard.
