ok - obviously i got a bit trigger happy on apps - coming from the pre which had minimal apps! i also have android booster installed. that article was helpful but i haven't unistalled this one yet because I still can't figure out why some apps are running. i just rebooted and upon start up these are running:

epocrates (update set for 1x week- mondays)
ebay
the hockey news - auto update is off
pandora - even shut off bluetooth for automotive
folder organizer

why would these be running? unless android booster is incorrect?

i do have switchpro widget installed too
