So, I have been one of the not so lucky individuals who has been experiencing really fast battery depletion. The other day, my Evo started acting really funny and slow. Being a former bb user, I tried the ole battery pull to no avail, the phone was still acting funny and laggy (I would press home and the white HTC screen would show for a few seconds). So, I decided to reset the phone to the factory settings... after doing so, I messed around with the phone getting it set back up with everything. Proceeded to go to bed and let it charge through the night. I pulled the phone off the charger yesterday morning at 9:00 am central, and it FINALLY made it through the day at work without having to charge, through the night and this morning the phone was at 20% still. Oh, and I'm only running ATK, wifi off at work, on at home, gps on, 4g off, and thats it. My work day consists of me checking facebook, twitter, doing some emails etc. (pretty light use), so you can understand why I was frustrated that my phone was almost dead by the end of the work day.
Not sure since this is my first Android phone, but I thought I read somewhere on this forum that someone had reset their phone and their battery life responded really well.
Just thought I would share.
