Hey people I'm new here, pls i need a battery saver that actually extends my battery life

Most battery saver app doesnt actually work.... if you are disclipine at turning off bluetooth, wifi, radio, gps when not needed, battery saver apps is no use. If you are lazy to do that, juice defender ultimate is a good choice.
You can root your phone and underclock, undervoltage your CPU so it uses less battery.

Agreed. Battery savers are a waste of time. Greenify might be worthwhile in certain situations, but it should be used carefully and sparingly.

Disagree strongly. Juice Defender never was any good. Hasn't been updated for 3 years and apparently has been abandoned. Uninstall.

Questionable. Performance will suffer noticeability. But the increase in battery life may be almost unnoticeable. I've never found the performance vs power trade-off to be worthwhile.

To get an idea what your phone will feel like underclocked/undervolted just go to battery settings and enable Battery Saver mode.

There is no app that can prolong your battery, period. There are a few tips on how to prolong battery life but that's about it really. If you have a removable battery, you can buy bigger batteries, I did this on my S4 when the original one started to fail.

Ahahaha about undervolting CPU.. i dont know how to do it T_T. You can search in the internet :v.

Yea, i use battery saver mode when my battery is about 20 percent left. However i dont feel any lag at all. Except the app switcher. I do notice FPS drops in games while in battery saver mode.

And also, i read somewhere that undervolting your CPU just makes it decide not to use the max speed all the time. So it reduces heat and power consumption. Performance will not suffer unless your CPU speed is low and playing intensive games. Again, im not sure about this info.

My phone is quad-core 1.3ghz, good enough?

Yes its good enough. In my S3, 1.4 ghz quad core, using the battery saver changes the CPU max speed to 1.0 ghz. lag is a bit noticable but doesnt really bother unless you are super sensitive guy. Do note my S3 uses touchwiz that is very heavy.

Lower your brightness, turn off Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and mobile data when not in use, etc.

Battery saver apps don't work and may sometimes drain the battery more because they're running all the time.

First of all try to uninstall all unwanted apps from your handset & visit play store for a best battery saver app. There are many apps that will surely help you out .

None of those apps on the Play Store help.

The only exception is Greenify, which you won't need once you get 6.0 Marshmallow.
