I just got my Urbane 2nd Edition today in the mail from ATT.
I am new to android wear so excuse my "newbie" questions

Since I have no intention of activating my watch for phone calls and only have it paired to my Nexus 5X via BT what setting on the watch should I disable besides turning off the cellular network which I already did.

Thanks.

Ps loving the watch wo far really nice feel and build quality. I'm coming from a Samsung Gear S2 whether CH I really like though its a little small for me.

That's about it. Just be careful that cellular will some times mysteriously turn itself on especially if you toggle airplane mode. Also, it seems that you can never fully turn off wifi.

You can turn 'Always on screen' feature off to save a little bit more battery.

Cellular radio is the biggest power sucker especially if you are in a weak signal spot. Everything else doesn't impact that much.

Thanks for the tip.
I still can't find an online manual for this watch on the LG website that other people have posted is the manual yet it's not in English

I would turn down the brightness setting to 3 or 2 depending on your eyes. I think it defaults to 4. However, what Foxbat said is true. With the watch connected to the phone all the time and with cellular off, you'd make it through a day like nothing.

I took a flight and that killed the battery!!!

You should turn on airplane mode so that the watch won't spend the entire flight time to search for non-existence phone. But be careful after you turn off the airplane mode, the cellular will be back on although some part of the watch software thinks it is off. This bug exists on both the Nov edition and new one. Looks like Google/LG didn't know it is a bug.

I took a 10-hour flight with my watch and battery barely drops.
