I have a rooted Pixel 7 running Android OS V13 and have turned off everything possible to disable automatic updates. I have not installed any new software or changed my phone usage habits for quite a while and the battery charge percentage typically drops about 25% per day.
About ten days ago, I updated several apps – but nothing google-related. After the update, the battery percentage dropped by 60% in one day. So, I rebooted the phone, but the battery percentage drop was still around 60% per day. Looking at Battery->Battery Usage I noticed that two apps which I had just updated, Sticky Password and 1Weather, were communing around 20% of the battery per day each, but these apps should use almost no power. So, I replaced the new versions with older ones, rebooted the phone, and the battery consumption was back to around 25% per day.
