Since my phone updated to Oreo a while back, there are a few updates that are terrible. For one, app icons look too uniform now, but who cares. Another thing is that long pressing an app icon will no longer allow you to go straight to the settings for that app. Now you have to go to Settings>Applications and scroll to find the app settings you want to change.
But really the most annoying thing is the notification about an app using the battery. I get the notification all the time now and it will stupidly tell me that the app I'm currently using is using the battery. Well, no duh. Thanks for the news flash.
The whole point of that notification is to tell you about an app that's draining an unnecessary amount of battery while running in the background. So, I would still like to be able to be notified of that when it happens, meaning I don't want to entirely disable the notification.
Is there a way to tell this notification to dial it back a bit? Otherwise I'll have to disable it entirely, which I'd rather not do.
