So my battery doesnt last near as long as it used to. I purchased my Note 4 full price from Best Buy because I have unlimited data and my carrier is Verizon. Who should I contact for warranty replacement on the battery? Verizon, Samsung, or Best Buy?

Before jumping to conclusions that the battery is at fault did you check to see if certain apps are the cause of the poor battery life?

There are many posts about battery life and different solutions.

I'm not saying that It can't be the battery.... You just want to try everything first to be sure.

I'm dumb and didn't call into verizon before my warranty was up, which ended October 23rd... so i just went to best buy today and coughed up the 40 bucks for a new battery. I was having issues where it would be at 25 percent, then within a second drop to12,then 1 second later power off and when I plug it in, it's at 0. lol

Did getting a new battery this fix your battery issue? I have this too. 35% then 30 seconds later 15% and it's asking if I want to conserve. And 30 seconds later 1%. I think some battery cells died.

Also, this is why I won't get a note 5 or any phone with a sealed battery. One year in and battery issues. Good luck note 5ers... Samsung didn't suddenly drop in a higher quality battery in your devices.

If you have the insurance through Verizon, it covers batteries. I assume since the note 5 battery is sealed, they will send you a replacement.

I purchased a clearly not OEM battery through Amazon that luckily wasn't too expensive. I'll have to contact Verizon although I believe I'm out of warranty. I do have the protection plan though so we'll see.

I had the same issue with the battery charge "disappearing" randomly. I contacted Verizon 1 week before my warranty was up and they just sent me a replacement phone. Problem fixed, it wasn't the battery at all, it was a hardware issue.

If I were to need a replacement phone, it'd be my third Note 4.

it not a battery its a software problem I have this all the time where I go from 30 to 15 to dead but if I take it out for a few mints and put it back in I still have 30 and it happens a lot when I swap batteries
