Is anyone other than me having issues with the battery wigets NOT reading accurately ???

My green light will be on, but several wigets that I have downloaded will say 99% or even 98%.

I know that the battery wigets have to calibrate but i thought that 24-48 hours was enough.

Any thought ??

thanks in advance !

I have given up on battery widgets, I just use the stock one on the topbar!

yeah im about to uninstall all of the wigets and just use the stock one. I downloaded the same ones i used for my EVO 4G and their just not accurate. My green light is on and the wigets read 97%, 95%, 99%

The widgets suck on this phone.

I just use Quick System Info pro and it tells the % very accurately and you can get to the battery info/what drains the battery quickly from there too.

I have been using "Battery Indicator" for a few weeks now. I love it! No issues with it on my end so far. Best of all its still free. You can donate. I will be at some point. I really enjoy this widget. Plus it puts the icon on your top bar.

What widgets have you guys been using? I know there are a lot of them out there.

In case this wasn't already stated, to my knowledge, I believe that the readings of 95%, 97%, etc, are all correct even if the green light is on. This is because, during the charging process, once the phone hits 100%, it turns the charge off until around 95%, and fluctuates back and forth from then. I think HTC did this as to avoid battery overheating during charging and for other safety precautions. see Android 101.06: More Than 20 Battery Tips And Tricks Every Android User Should Know About for a method to manually trickle charge the phone for max battery life.

Edit: Btw, I use Battery Indicator Pro and I love it!

You are correct. The Green "charged" light is so users know when they can take it off of the charger. I would imagine that people would be more frustrated if they light went back to amber "charging" while it is doing that fluctuating. Depending on when you looked at the light, it could look like it never got fully charged, even if it was overnight.

In this case, I think battery monitor widgets can be the problem of too much information. If there was just the battery bar at the top and the amber/green light, these questions wouldn't pop up.
